Day One
After 24 hours the egg shell has dissolved. The egg is white like a boiled egg, but not hard like a boiled egg. It is flexible when you press on the surface of the egg. Melissa and I do not think it is solid inside. We are waiting another 24 hours to see if it firms up. It is supposed to bounce.
Procedure
It is a simple set up. Place the egg in the jar and fill it up with vinegar until the egg is covered. Observe and take a picture of the egg each day. Post the picture on the blog each day with a write up of your observations. Do this for 30 days.
Hypothesis
The egg shell with dissolve and the membrane will be left. The egg will continue to be liquid.
Statement of the Problem
What will happen to an egg when it is soaked in vinegar for 30 days?
